Technical Parameters

 

The performance of a 38mm PET preform mold directly determines the preform pass rate, production efficiency, and overall production cost. A high-quality mold must meet four core requirements: high precision, high wear resistance, high efficiency, and easy maintenance, while also complying with food-grade production standards:

 

Ultra-high processing precision, preform pass rate ≥99.8%
The cavity/core is machined using a five-axis CNC machining center and EDM machine, with precision controlled to ±0.005mm. The bottle neck concentricity is ≤0.01mm, free from defects such as flashing, short shots, and sink marks. This results in a high pass rate for subsequent blow-molded bottles and reduces scrap loss.

 

Optimized cooling + hot runner design, 30% increase in production efficiency
The cavity/core features independent 360° surrounding water channels, combined with high-conductivity copper pipes, resulting in fast cooling and a shortened molding cycle; the needle valve hot runner provides multi-point injection, ensuring uniform melt filling without gate marks, eliminating the need for subsequent processing and allowing direct entry into the blow molding process, significantly improving production efficiency.

 

Standardized parts, easy maintenance and replacement
All wear parts of the mold (ejector pins, seals, guide posts, guide bushings) use industry-standard specifications and can be purchased and replaced individually without requiring the entire mold to be returned to the factory; the mold's water and oil circuits are clearly laid out, with reserved maintenance space, making daily cleaning and maintenance convenient and reducing maintenance costs.

 

High compatibility, adaptable to various injection/blow molding equipment
The mold interface adopts national/European standard designs, compatible with mainstream domestic and international injection molding machines and blow molding machines, eliminating the need for additional equipment modifications and reducing equipment adaptation costs; it is also compatible with various PET raw materials (such as bottle-grade PET chips and recycled PET materials). The overall sealed design prevents material leakage and rust.


The mold joint surfaces utilize high-precision sealing grooves and imported sealing rings, ensuring no material leakage during injection molding. The mold surface is treated with hard anodizing and chrome plating, providing rust and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for humid production environments and extending the mold's service life.
